Igor Agamirzian

Igor Agamirzian, Ph.D., is a Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Executive Committee of the Russian Venture Company since May 2009. In 2007–2009 he was a General Manger of the Software Development Center of EMC Corporation in St. Petersburg. Since 1995 he worked at Microsoft.

Before joining business in 1991 as a co-founder and Technical Director of Astro Soft Ltd., a St. Petersburg based software development and system integration company, Igor Agamirzian had a 12-year background as a senior research fellow in the field of programming languages and computer architecture with the leading institutes of the Academy of Science of the USSR.
