For speakers 2011

The Program Committee has finished reviewing the papers. The contest has attracted 140 articles from 24 countries worldwide, 40% of them were accepted as the regular presentations and 9% as the poster ones.

Deadlines and required materials

If your paper is accepted for inclusion into the CEE-SECR 2011 program, please follow these steps:

Before 15th of September (inclusive)

  1. Read the reviewers recommendations which were sent to you and correct your abstract if needed. Update the abstract in the system: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SECR2011.
  2. Email to us:
    • Your photo, 800 by 600 px or larger.
    • Your short bio (500-750 characters) which includes your current company and position.

We are also encouraging you to record a short video which would announce your presentation on our website (here is an example: http://2011.secrus.org/talks/Intel-Partner-Programs). Please upload the video to YouTube and send the link to us.

Before 30th of September (inclusive)

  1. Upload the final camera-ready version of your paper/ presentation to the system https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SECR2011. All templates can be found at: http://2011.secrus.org/for-speakers/templates.
  2. Register as a speaker at the conference website: http://2011.secrus.org/for-participants/registration.

NB! Please enter the promo-codes sent to you by email. There is one free registration per presentation and a 20% discount for co-presenters.

Special discounts are also available for poster presentations authors and for the authors of rejected papers.

Instructions for authors

Academic papers can be written either in English or in Russian; however, each paper must include an abstract in both languages. Presentation abstracts must be written in both English and Russian.

All accepted papers will be distributed at the conference on a flash drive.

Academic paper

  • Academic paper must be compliant with the academic template;
  • Please provide a slide deck to be presented at the conference. Presentation template is available;
  • Presentation formats: .ррt, .ррtx, .ррs, .odp, .pdf.

Please upload both paper and presentation via the submission engine by the September 30: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SECR2011.

Presentation

Timing and Equipment

  • 30 minutes is allocated for each regular presentation, including time for discussion.
  • Each room will be equipped with a video projector and a PC.
  • Simultaneous translation will be provided.

Author benefits

  • Academic papers submitted in English will be published in the IEEE electronic library.
  • Following the conference, the Program Committee will select the 10 best academic papers for inclusion in a special issue of the Software Engineering magazine (Russian).
  • One free conference pass per accepted paper will be given to the speaker making the presentation.

Poster presentation

The Poster presentations will take place in the conference hall and will follow a predefined scheduled. You will have an opportunity to announce the topic and the time slot of your presentation by way of a short video that will be broadcasted during the conference.

The poster presenters do not receive a free pass but are eligible for a noticeable (20%) discount.

Before 30th of September (inclusive):

  1. Register as a poster speaker at the conference website: http://2011.secrus.org/for-participants/registration
    Please enter a promo-code to get the discount.
  2. Read the reviewers recommendations below and update the abstract of your presentation in the system: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SECR2011
  3. Please send us by email:
    • Your photo, 800 by 600 px or bigger.
    • Your short bio (~500 characters), your current company and position
  4. Record a short video (1 min) which would announce your presentation. Please upload the video to YouTube and send the link to us.

Travel arrangements

The conference official travel partner is ISC travel (IntelService Center). ISC travel offers full assistance and support with the following services: Visa Invitation processing, Hotel bookings, Transportation services, Professional translation, Pre- and post conference tours

We highly recommend booking your accommodation in Moscow as soon as you register for the conference.

Conference organizers will not cover your traveling costs and hotel reservations.
