This report examines the approach to some aspects of integrating the applications that are “in the cloud” (in accordance with Software As A Service—SaaS principle) with local (from the user point of view) data stores, including databases with both core and transactional data. The report provides an overview of the solution architecture, its general structure and critical components. In addition, some example of implementation with this specific approach will be provided.

Konstantin Polukhin started his professional career in 1987, moving up from a software developer to manager of development and general manager.

From 1997 to 2011 Konstantin founded and brought to market  several companies in fields of software development and consultancy services in the US and Russia. The list of his clients includes American Express, Capital One, Bank of America, Reader’s Digest, IBM, and other companies.

In 2011, Constantine led a new Cloud Solutions practice in First Line Software company.

Konstantin graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute, majoring in hydrodynamics and automation control of the vessel and received his PhD in systems analysis, control and information processing at the St. Petersburg Institutefor Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPII RAS).
