The program for the 7th annual Central and Eastern European Software Engineering Conference in Russia (CEE-SECR 2011), to be held in Moscow on October 31 – November 1, is currently being assembled.
The CEE-SECR 2011 Program Committee has announced that it is now accepting the submission of papers. Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to present their ongoing projects or the results of their work in software engineering. High quality research papers, experience reports, panel discussions, and workshops are now being solicited for inclusion within the following conference tracks:
- Research/Technology: Academic research in the field of Software Engineering
- Experience/Practice: Experience reports from industry experts
- Human Capital and Education: Issues and solutions in teaching software engineering and human resource management
- Business and Entrepreneurship: Business development, innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of software engineering
An international Program Committee will review submissions for quality and relevance, and authors will be notified of the Committee’s decision by email. Papers will undergo double-blind review.
Following the conference, the Program Committee will select the 10 best academic papers for inclusion in a special issue of Software Engineering magazine (Russian). Academic papers submitted in English will be published in the IEEE electronic library.
Conference Chairman Nick Puntikov says: “For the seventh consecutive year, professional software developers from Russia and Eastern and Central Europe will gather in Moscow for CEE-SECR. With each passing year, the conference becomes more intense and more interesting. It attracts the best experts from around the world – scientists and researchers, engineers and entrepreneurs – who make presentations and participate in discussions, as part of an ongoing dialog. I am confident that this year’s SECR will be a milestone for the IT industry.”
About CEE-SECR
