CMMI® – (almost) all truth in one (!) day

Instructor: Alexander Kondakov

October 31, 2011 (1 day), 9:30 – 18:00

Registration is closed. Register for SECR 2012

About the seminar

The CMMI® model was developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University in 2000, and has gone on to become the unofficial standard for software and hardware development. While copies of the model are distributed freely, users often face challenges interpreting and adapting the model to the specific conditions of their organization or business.

There are several CMMI® models currently in use but this seminar will focus on the most popular – CMMI® for Development. Part of the seminar will also be dedicated to CMMI® for Services, another interesting model.

Because this seminar is not an official SEI training course, it allows aspects of the models to be explained in less formal terms. In addition, the seminar addresses issues which do not form part of official training courses. Over the course of a single workshop, participants will discover nearly all the fundamental truths about the family of CMMI® models.

The seminar includes a presentation (lecture) and exercises with time dedicated to question and answers sessions. These sessions are a great opportunity to get answers from the only Russian-speaking SEI-certified specialist in the world.
