Ovanes Mikhaylov

Ovanes Mikhaylov was born in Moscow in 1979. In childhood he lived in different countries due to his father’s job: Libya (1983–1986) and Vietnam (1990–1992). In the 1995 after graduating from the school he became a student of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. In 2001 after several attempts he received a DAAD scholarship to study technological product marketing in Aachen University (Germany).

The study in a European university and practice in Deutsche Telekom, one of the largest telecom companies in Europe, gave him an opportunity to get comprehensive knowledge and to acquire professional contacts. In 2002 Ovanes started his work for the VDEL in Eastern Europe.

In 2004 he started his career in the Moscow office of Kaspersky Lab. His career has developed from an agency account manager and business development manager to B2B sales director in Southern Europe. In 2008 Ovanes moved to Madrid.
